Learning on the job.
One day, back in November 2024, I was out photographing in Richmond park when a woman walked up to me asking if I was a photographer...After reluctantly saying yes, she told me she was an opera singer with a showcase coming up, consisting of 3 other singers and a live orchestra. Despite never having done a proper indoor shoot before or never having photographed a live orchestra or singers, I said yes to photographing their showcase...
A few days later I rocked up with my camera, a newly purchased second hand zoom lens, a couple batteries and an old tripod. I spent about 8 hours there and these were my results...Thankyou for having me Shaw Theatre!
